How to Use
Use the little spatula to take a little bit of the balm on to your palms. Gentle massage the balm on to dry skin to dissolve make up. Add water which will emulsify the balm and rinse off with warm water. Follow up with a foaming cleanser to complete your double cleanse.

This is the second time I’ve bought this and I absolutely love it! I've used these two products as part of my new two-step cleansing routine....& I'm really liking the results! Whilst the cleansing balm doesn't *quite* remove all traces of my mascara (I do like a good few layers so it had its work cut out for it to be honest), it does remove all the rest of my make-up with ease & *most* of the mascara so I'm happy with that. The Klairs wash is a lovely texture, & you only need one decent pump to create a silky foam which covers my face & it leaves my skin feeling smooth & with no tightness at all once patted dry. Very impressed with both products & definitely a step up from the soap & water I tended to reach for previously!

This is such a nice light cleansing balm. It manages to take off even heavy makeup, but doesn’t leave a residue or oily texture on the skin, and my skin feels super bright and softened. I also feel like it’s going to last a long time as I’ve barely made a dent in it.

I have never been able to find something that takes off my waterproof mascara. I use Clinique and it’s near impossible to get off, however with this ball it’s completely effortless! I can’t believe I have never heard of or considered using a balm before now. I was worried as I have oily skin but it doesn’t leave my skin oily AT ALL! If you’re considering buying this please do as it’s amazing. Beware of how much you use though, I used a fair bit my first time and my eyes ended up stinging as I used far too much.

I bought this balm to use as part of a double cleanse to get rid of sunscreen. It works really well I’ve been trying it for over a week during the evening and it helps to really clean my skin without drying it out. I don’t wear makeup so I haven’t tested whether it gets rid of it but I imagine it would do a good job. I’ve found the best way to use it is how it is directed to by melting the balm in your hands, rubbing it on dry face, emulsifying it with water and then rinsing it off.

I really enjoy using this balm cleanser. I use it in the mornings, and as the first part of a double cleanse in the evening. It works fantastically to remove makeup, and never irritates my eyes when removing my mascara (which is an issue I've found with products in the past). Packaging was absolutely beautiful and worked great with my skin leaving it moisturised after wash. Removed all my make up including my mascara and eyeliner which was so helpful.
I bought it for my holiday as I only had a carry on bag and thought balm would be great for carry on cause it is solid... right? I was able to fly with it for 2 of my flights but unfortunately, was taken away in my 3rd flight at the airport security. The officers claimed it was liquid because it says on the packaging that it is "125 ml" instead of "grams". And no matter how many times I explain that it was a solidified oil, they would touch it and say that it is a cream. In the end I had to get it thrown away which was a heartbreaking moment, because I LOVED this product so much!!! So, if you're taking it on flights, just transfer it into a smaller container or put it in check-in luggage to avoid disappointment.

The Heimish cleansing balm is really gorgeous to use. I had been using a very much more expensive cleansing balm which I have always loved but I thought I would give this a go instead, based on the other reviews. I’m so glad I did; I love it just as much as the more expensive one and am now a happy convert to Heimish. I use this followed by the Heimish All Clean Cleansing Foam and I can honestly say my skin looks much clearer than it has in months. My skin also doesn’t feel dry after I’ve used this. I love this cleanser a lot! It just melts my make-up away and even deals with mascara in seconds. This being said, it is a bit messy, especially in comparison to a simple make-up remover wipe.
Yet, the effects on my skin are worth it. I use it as the first step in the double-cleanse and my skin has never looked better. Normally, make-up removers dry up my skin and oil-based removers cause me to break out. This is the perfect solution for my problems.

My skin in loving this balim cleanser. It smells divine and its extremely nourishing for the skin. I have combination skin and get hormonal outbreaks and this cleanser seems to have settled my skin. Used in combination with the green foam Hamish cleanser or neogen green tea cleanser, my skin is super clean and fresh. I recieved this as a sample, and it does what it says on the tin. It dissolves makeup without need for excessive scrubbing, and washes of without leaving oily residue. However there are many dry oil products you can buy that do exactly the same job, which are much cheaper. All in all a really good makeup remover!

It is not to heavy on my skin and the smell reminds me of a aroma oil from the spa along with Elemis facial cleansing balm but I feel the scent is more stronger than the elemis.
