Beauty & Seoul launches the first KBeauty sheetmask that is 100% eco-friendly and recyclable

Beauty & Seoul introduce the first KBeauty sheetmask from brand Sioris that is 100% recyclable and eco-friendly.

Founder, Maree Kinder, says that ‘working in the beauty industry, I am well aware of the faults it has. Whilst we at Beauty & Seoul are trying to take steps to minimise our impact, we know that we still have a lot of work to do. And this is one of our main goals for 2020.”

Over the past few months, Beauty & Seoul have invested heavily in vegan skincare brands such as Isntree, Sioris and Purito – the latter, a brand that uses recyclable packaging and soy ink printing.

The newly launched Sioris Make It Bright Sheet Mask is truly unique. A tencel sheet made from eucalyptus extract packaged in a paper pouch, this sheetmask is the first of its kind – 100% eco-friendly and recyclable.  About the mask, Maree has said “infused with 73% of organic seasonal plum water and chock full of vitamins from Gwangyang, Korea, this sheetmask contains some of my favourite brightening ingredients such as Niacinamide, Panthenol, Ginseng, Centella (6%) and Neroli.”

Founder of Sioris, Isaac, who is based in Seoul, said “we tried to find a way to reduce our ecological footprint so we decided to package our sheetmask in a paper pouch. We care about sustainability in the products we make. We use natural origin ingredients and PET plastic packaging which can be recycled but we are always looking for other eco-friendly packaging”, says Isaac.
